REDU -Where, Who & How We Help

Our projects are located in some of the most remote and impoverished areas in the world, in the slopes of Mt. Rwenzori in Kasese District of Uganda.

We go to one village after another identifying families living in extreme poverty. When we complete the recognition process, we prepare training to teach how to do business that will help them to earn a daily income. 

The goal is to create a sustainable local economy that is in harmony with the local culture and environment. Eco tourism and a local crafts market are at the heart of our program. We invite volunteers to join us in our efforts. The local beauty an goes beyond the landscape. By providing micro loans, developing tourism, providing education and building long term trading partners we are making a difference in the lives of the people who live here and are the stewards of the land.
